DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) - Troopers in Montgomery County will be out in force looking for impaired drivers.
The Montgomery County OVI Task Force will hold a checkpoint Wednesday evening beginning at 7:00 pm.
Why on a Wednesday? The Ohio State Highway Patrol says it is the kickoff to a larger patrol set for Thursday and Friday.
Troopers will be out looking for various violations including people carrying guns illegally and other criminal offenses, including drunk driving.
The exact location of the checkpoint will be released Tuesday morning.
