DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) - Cyclists can now enjoy a new bikeway in Dayton.
Enthusiasts put their feet to the pedals on the new section of trail following a ribbon cutting ceremony Monday.
The new addition extends from the Stewart Street bridge to the Courtyard Marriott on Edwin C Moses Boulevard, adding to the largest bike trail network in the country.
"It's a very important stretch because it links a great hotel, part of UD's campus to the other part of UD's campus to the other side of the river," said Angela Manuszak, Miami Conservancy District.
The path connects to 330 miles of paved bikeways throughout the Miami Valley.
