DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) - A 65-year-old Dayton man is dead after falling out of a 12th floor window at the Jaycee Towers Sunday afternoon.
According to police reports, Stephen B. Ross, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Witnesses told officers they were playing cards in their first floor apartment when they heard a loud "thump." When they looked outside, they saw Ross' body on the ground.
It appeared Ross was trying to wash one of the windows of his 12th floor apartment. The police report indicates officers found part of a squeegee on the ground as well as a roll of paper towels and glass cleaner on the window sill.
The Montgomery County Coroner's office tells 2 NEWS Ross' death will be ruled as accidental due to multiple blunt force trauma.
