DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) - The Ohio Department of Transportation will close one lane on US 35 east between Boltin street and Smithville road while crews install a noise wall in that area.
Nearly 70,000 drivers pass through this section of highway daily.
The closure will go into effect Monday, May 20. Two lanes of traffic will remain open to eastbound drivers during this time.
Traffic on the Steve Whalen Blvd. ramp will also be shifted.
Arrow board and signs will be i n place prior to the work zone to alert drivers.
Drivers are urged to be alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through this work zone.
The lane is expected to reopen October 31, 2013.
