KETTERING, Ohio (WDTN) - The Kettering School Board named a new member Thursday.
Jennifer Kane will fill the unexpired term of James Trent. Trent resigned after he was accused of sexual misconduct.

We believe Jennifer will be a valuable asset to our school district and to the Kettering community as a member of the board."

She also has an extensive volunteering background.
Kane has three children who attend Van Buren Middle School.
