DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) - A rally aimed at immigration reform was held in downtown Dayton Tuesday afternoon.
Faith leaders joined together outside Representative Mike Turner's office.
They presented him a peace lily representing a wish for peace for families separated by our current immigration system.
"There is a lot of conflict and tension within our families because families are really struggling. If there's been deportation, families are separated. So. peace is bringing harmony and unification," said Sister Maria Stacy, supports immigration reform.
The crowd wanted Representative Turner's support on the Comprehensive Immigration Reform legislation currently pending in Congress
