HUBER HEIGHTS, Ohio (WDTN) - The Ohio Division of Wildlife executed a search warrant at 5960 Fishburg Road Wednesday morning, the same home where a 7-foot long alligator was seized from over the weekend.
They were looking for a raccoon officials spotted inside the Huber Heights home while seizing the alligator.
They did find the raccoon and removed it from the house. Officials said it was in good health.
There were several other animals in the home, including three snakes, ferrets, rabbits, and fish. Officials said all of those were legal and healthy.
The man who lives in the house, David Keefer, was issued a citation for the raccoon.
Officials said its likely he will face animal cruelty charges in regards to the alligator.
The investigation is ongoing.
