DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) - Dayton homicide detectives are investigating a double shooting after the victims showed up at a local hospital on their own.
Officers say the victims showed up at Good Samaritan Hospital around 9:30 pm. Both have since been transferred to Miami Valley Hospital in critical condition. One victim is identified as Jamal McShann, 22.
Police have since pinned down two locations connected to the shootings. They have scenes in the 4600 block of Hoover Avenue where an assault rifle was found in the road.
The other scene is in the 700 block of Tyson Avenue.
Police are still investigating exactly what happened. Police said both victims were not giving officers much information to go on.
Traffic is being blocked in one area of Greene County due to what is described as a large gas leak.
Emergency crews are responding to the report of an OSP trooper involved in an accident in Clark County.
