DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) - Two security guards are being held in the Montgomery County jail in lieu of $1 Million bond each in connection with the shooting death of Dante Price.
Christopher Tarbert and Justin Wissinger were arraigned in a Montgomery County court via closed circuit television Tuesday, just a day before what would have been Price's 26th birthday. Each man entered a not guilty plea.
"He was my first, he was inspiration for me becoming a nurse, he was my inspiration for everything," said Saprena Riley, Price's mother. "He was beautiful, handsome, tall, had a good heart, was a good father, a good man and he would want justice".
Tarbert and Wissinger were indicted on murder charges by a grand jury last Wednesday following the March 1 shooting.
Both men will have to pay the bond or a 10 percent cash surety in order to be released from jail.
