DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) - A freeze warning takes affect across the Miami Valley early Thursday morning.
The National Weather Service issued the alert from 2:00 am Thursday until 10:00 am.
Storm Team 2 Meteorologist Tara Hastings says we should see the first 'hard freeze' of the season.
"It should be the end of the growing season. Any unprotected plants outside will most likely freeze and die," said Hastings.
A freeze warning is issued when temperatures are highly likely to dip to 32 degrees or below.
