DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) - Some children across the Miami Valley have new backpacks stuffed with goodies thanks to a group of volunteers.
Employees of Mondelez International volunteered their time at The Foodbank Saturday morning stuffing backpacks for children.
They packed the bags with nutritious food for children in need.
Mendelez International recently donated $2,500 to support the Good-to-Go Backpack program at The Foodbank.
The mission of The Foodbank is to relieve hunger through the acquisition and distribution of food to hungry people throughout the Miami Valley.
