HARRISON TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WDTN) - Police are searching for two men who fled from a suspected burglary and were involved in a hit and run crash at Turner Road and Kleplinger Avenue in Harrison Township.
Police tell 2 NEWS a neighbor saw someone breaking into a home in the 3700 block of Ark Avenue in Harrison Township and called police.
Two men fled the home as officers arrived on the scene. One of the men fled on foot while the other jumped into a maroon car and sped off.
The burglar in the car crashed into a delivery vehicle and bailed out on foot.
Deputies, officers and troopers converged on the area in an attempt to locate the suspects.
Meadowdale High School, Meadowdale and Valerie Arms Elementary schools were placed on lockdown during the manhunt.
Neither of the men were located.
