KETTERING, Ohio (WDTN) - Nearly all power has been restored in a Kettering neighborhood after a power line was knocked down Tuesday morning.
A tree fell on a power line near Greendale Drive and Far Hills Avenue, then the sagging line was snagged by a passing RTA bus, pulling then all the way down.
The area affected is along Far Hills Avenue between Dorothy Lane and Stroop Road.
At one point, as many as 1,300 customers were without power.
As of 11 a.m., about 160 customers were still waiting for the lights to come on.
