CENTERVILLE, Ohio (WDTN) - A Centerville woman is facing charges she doused another woman with gas and tried to light her on fire.
The Montgomery County Prosecutor’s office approved charges against Kimberly Bennington following an incident Sunday. The office tells 2 NEWS Bennington made her way into the victim’s home, threw gasoline n her and attempted to set her on fire.
The victim, prosecutors say, is the girlfriend of Bennington’s soon-to-be ex-husband.
The case will be presented to a grand jury later this month.
The prosecutor's office approved five separate charges Bennington: aggravated burglary, two counts of attempted aggravated arson, tampering with evidence, and felonious assault.
