DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) - A burglary suspect landed in court Thursday after his leap from a police cruiser.
Eric Simmons had a not guilty plea entered for him. Bond was set at $500,000.
You might remember the video that police released to us showing Simmons in the back of a cruiser, unlocking the door and jumping out.
Police had him under arrest at the time on suspicion of burglary on Lindale Drive.
Another man, William Grossley, was also in court Thursday on charges of burglary in the Lindale case. He too pleaded not guilty. Bond was set for Grossley at $25,000.
