VANDALIA, Ohio (WDTN) - A married couple caught in the fiery crash that killed two semi truck drivers Wednesday is sharing their story.
William Shaw of Xenia said he and his wife were traveling south on Interstate 75 near Tipp City when he witnessed the first impact from his side mirror.
"I looked back and saw the initial semi truck rear-end a car," said Willliam. "The impact caused a semi truck behind our car to slam into us."
William said he and his wife had to be rescued from their mangled van.
William said he and his wife are thankful they were not seriously injured.
A 29-year-old Farmersville man is dead after he was attacked Friday at the downtown RTA bus hub.
Fifty names were read as families mourned their loved ones who were victims of violence.
