DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) - The annual Cityfolk Festival wrapped up with a high-flying fireworks finale in downtown Dayton last night.
This was the first year Cityfolk charged admission to the festival.
Overall, organizers say attendance was less than they hoped for, but predicted another festival next year.
"I would say 80 percent at this point," said Kathleen Alter, executive director, Cityfolk. "Obviously without seeing our numbers and our partnership with DAI, it will be up to them. But they love the festival, they think its worth keeping. So I feel pretty confident we will have one next year."
Riverside residents met with the Ohio EPA and Ohio Department of Health after concerns of toxic chemicals could be polluting their homes.
