DAYTON, Ohio - Betty, the 3-month-old Chihuahua stolen from her kennel has been found.
The puppy was taken from the Humane Society of Greater Dayton on Tuesday just hours after having had surgery and in need of medicine.
Betty was anonymously dumped at another shelter said Jessica Garringer of the Humane Society.
"Thanks to the support of our community, we are so happy to say we have located Betty," Garringer said. "This is a perfect example of how working through social media and news resources can make all the difference."
Betty was in a foster home and was about to be adopted by that family when she disappeared.
