CENTERVILLE, Ohio (WDTN) - A former Centerville teacher pleaded guilty Friday to sexual battery charges.
Michael Weaver, 43, pleaded to two counts.
Weaver was arrested in January, accused of having a relationship with a former student.
The incidents occurred from 2005 until 2006. The student was a sophomore at Centerville High School at the time.
Weaver taught government classes and was a former girls' golf coach.
He had been on paid administrative leave pending the outcome of the case. Centerville City Schools Superintendent, Dr. Tom Henderson, confirmed to 2 NEWS Friday afternoon that Weaver is no longer employed with the district.
Weaver will be sentenced April 25.
