MIAMISBURG, Ohio (WDTN) - A 7-year old's description of a burglary suspect may be the key to helping police capture the man who broke into a Miamisburg home Thursday morning.
Miamisburg Police detective Jason Threlkeld told 2 NEWS the 7-year-old child encountered the suspect in the kitchen of a home near Lock and Old Main streets around 2 a.m. The two exchanged words and the burglar gathered up a cell phone and iPad and fled the home.
Detectives believe the man got into the home through a window.
Police released this sketch and in hopes it may help the public identify the burglar. If you recognize this man, described as a white male between 18 and 20 years of age, call Det. Threlkeld at 937-847-6620.
