DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) - A two car crash was caught on camera as the accident happened Tuesday morning.
An exterior surveillance camera at Dayton Transmission and Auto Repair captured the impact when a BMW and a Jeep collided at the intersection of Patterson Boulevard and Sixth Street just before 8:30.
The image shows the the Jeep attempting to cross Patterson when it's smacked by the oncoming BMW, knocking the Jeep on its side.
Both drivers were taken to a local hospital for treatment.
Two children strapped into car seats inside the BMW were not injured. They were picked up at the scene by their grandfather.
The owner of the business said he had the cameras installed about three months ago.
