DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) - Dayton detectives are investigating the reported rape of a 90 year-old woman.
The attack was reported at 9:30 last night on the bike path near the 1900 block of Radio Road in Dayton.
Investigators said the woman reported she was walking on the bike path when a stranger walked up and took her by the hand. He led her to a near by building where she told police he knocked her down and sexually assaulted her.
After the attack, police told 2 NEWS the woman walked to her son's nearby home where they called 911.
The victim was taken to an area hospital to be checked out.
As of Monday afternoon, Dayton Sgt. Larry Tolpin said detectives did not have a good description of the suspect and they were still investigating.
