HUBER HEIGHTS, Ohio (WDTN) - Three people were hurt in an officer-involved crash Friday.
Officials told 2 NEWS a Huber Heights police officer was responding to a call just before 4 pm, when he collided head-on with a van at the intersection of Troy Pike and Merily Way. The officer did not have sirens or lights on in the squad car at the time of the accident.
2 NEWS is told two women in the van were taken to Miami Valley Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The officer involved was been treated and released from the Huber Heights Emergency Department.
Officials said it's not clear at this time who had the right of way in the crash. The accident remains under investigation.
