DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) - A Dayton man was arrested early Wednesday morning after claiming he traded candy and cigarettes for sex.
Officers followed Keneth Dunson and Latasha Ramsey to a home located near W. Riverview Avenue and confronted them after witnessing Ramsey wandering up and down the street waving down cars.
According to the police report, Dunson stated that he and Ramsey were old friends who had reconnected, gone on a date and had sex. Officers asked Dunson if he gave Ramsey any money for the encounter to which he said, "No, I didn't give her any money. I gave her some cigarettes and some candy."
Ramsey however told police that she was paid fifteen dollars for the sexual act. Police again confronted Dunson and he admitted to paying Ramsey for the encounter.
The pair is being charged with misdemeanor counts of soliciting and prostitution.
