TROY, Ohio (WDTN) - A hearing was held Thursday in Miami County for a Beavercreek man busted in a child sex ring.
Investigators say Jason Zwick answered a Craiglist ad posted by Kenneth Brandt, who adopted three boys and tried to sell one of them online.
Zwick was not in court, but his attorney asked for pieces of evidence to be thrown out.
A Beavercreek police officer took the stand and talked about what Zwick reportedly said in online chatrooms.
"Jason Zwick has mentioned that he had a child porn collection, but that his hard drive had crashed and he had lost it," said Officer Chris Monroe, Beavercreek Police Department.
No decision was made because others are expected to testify at a later date.
Zwick remains in jail tonight on a $500,000 bond.
Brandt is awaiting trial on his charges in the case.
