BETHEL TWP., Ohio (WDTN) - The owner of a horse rescue in Miami County entered a not guilty plea in court Tuesday.
Shula Woodworth entered a written plea to 37 animal cruelty charges.
More than a 125 animals were removed from her Bethel Township property in February.
Woodworth ran the Serenity Horse Rescue.
Many of the animals including horses, pigs and goats are now in foster care.
The Ohio Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals also stepped in to help the animals.
