TIPP CITY, Ohio (WDTN) - Power is coming back on for residents in Tipp City.
The Miami County Sheriff's Department reported to 2 NEWS that there is a widespread outage 10:30 pm. They were not sure exactly how many customers were in the dark.
2 NEWS received several inquiries about the outage at Report!t .
Power started returning around midnight. In fact, 2 NEWS crews reported seeing lights slowly coming on along one street, one house at a time.
The city's power comes from Tipp City Electric . It is municipally owned and operated. We have calls into the city, but no word yet on exactly what caused the outage.
