BETHEL TWP., Ohio (WDTN) - The owner of a Bethel Township horse rescue pleaded not guilty in court Tuesday.
Shula Woodworth faces charges involving zoning code violations.
Officials seized more than 125 animals from the Serenity Horse Rescue on State Route 201 last month.
The horses, donkeys, goats, alpacas, pigs and other animals are now in the care of the Ohio Society for the PreveNtion of Cruelty to Animals or foster families.
Humane Society officials say animal cruelty charges could also be filed against Woodworth.
