TROY, Ohio (WDTN) - A former Troy police officer was indicted for theft in office.
Kirt Wright appeared in court Monday.
He is accused of stealing $13,000 from the DARE program and then using the money for personal items.
Our partners at the Troy Daily News report that Wright resigned from the force in July.
The alleged theft occurred between January 2008 and May 2013.
The Bureau of Ciminal Investigation handled the investigation.
