COVINGTON, Ohio (WDTN) - Investigators have released the name of a man hurt in a crash in Covington Wednesday.
Mostafa Sanati, 28, of New Weston, was taken from the scene to Miami Valley Hospital onboard Careflight.
Police say he was driving on Versailles Road around 4:30 pm when he ran a stop sign at Route 48.
A semi truck hit his van and lost its load of coiled steel.
The driver of the semi, Todd Lennartz, 42, of Fort Recovery, was not hurt.
Sanati is listed in fair condition suffering from a head injury.
You might recall that the intersection was closed to traffic for several hours while crews cleaned up diesel fuel and removed the coiled steel.
Police say Sanati will most likely be cited for failure to yield.
