NEW CARLISLE, Ohio (WDTN) - A mower backed over a 5-year-old child Tuesday near New Carlisle.
Miami County Sheriff's Deputies tell 2 NEWS several children were using a riding mower to tow a wagon when the 5-year-old fell out. An older child backed up the mower, pinning the 5-year-old underneath.
Deputies were called to the home in the 7700 block of Staley Road around Noon to assist at the scene. They tell us the mower's blades were not active at the time of the accident.
There is no word on the boy's injuries.
