WEST LIBERTY, Ohio (WDTN) - Grief counselors will talk with children Monday at West Liberty Salem Elementary School after a fellow student was killed during spring break.
Colton Furrow, 8, and his brother were crossing North Detroit Street in West Liberty Thursday when Colton was struck by a pick up truck.
Funeral arrangements are pending.
School officials say counselors will assist the children in any way necessary.
"They came in the front window, went through gifts, unwrapped all the gifts they could find to see what they could take, snatched the TV off the wall, snatched the computer."
The tentative plan calls for the fairgrounds to be build on the northeast corner of the Arlington Road and Interstate 70 intersection.
Police said they were last seen about 12 hours ago, but officers are concerned because both have Alzheimer's.
"The suspects kicked the children out of the car, left them in the cold and took off," said Sgt. Mark Ponichtera.
Only on 2, after nearly six months since the air show disaster Dayton Airport firefighters are ready to tell the public they did everything "humanly possible" in response to the crash.
