XENIA, Ohio (WDTN) - The X-Plan is on display in Xenia.
It is a plan that Xenia city leaders put in place to help spur development in the city.
An open house was held Wednesday evening at the community library.
City officials worked with community members on the draft which includes plans for incentives to retailers, more bike paths and green ways.
The city planner says ideas from the public really improved the X-Plan.
"One of the things we saw from people was a lot of interest in downtown, a lot of interest in keeping what we have, viable, our infrastructure, our neighborhoods, our downtown, making sure that's viable before we grow outward," said Brian Forschne, Xenia City Planner.
The next step is approval by the planning and zoning commission after more public comment.
