FAIRBORN, Ohio (WDTN) - Wright State University confirms that the university police chief was placed on leave last week.
George Heddleston, Vice President of Communications and Marketing told 2 NEWS that Chief of Police Mike Martinsen is still getting paid during the administrative leave.
He would not elaborate on why the university made the move. He called it an internal issue that will be dealt with by the university.
Martinsen was named chief in 2008.
David Finnie has been named interim chief.
