XENIA, Ohio (WDTN) - A woman slammed her car into a two-story assisted living center Sunday afternoon.
It happened just after 2 p.m. at Elmcroft Senior Living on Paceline Court.
Officials said the driver hit the gas instead of the brakes, knocked down a handicapped sign, and then hit the assisted living center.
There was a person who was washing dishes inside when the car crashed into the building.
The driver and the person washing dishes were not injured.
The water was turned off to the facility while the building inspector was called to the scene to investigate.
