BEAVERCREEK, Ohio (WDTN) - A group of dancers will be getting their groove on at The Greene in honor of three Bellbrook high school girls who died in an accident last year.
A "We Dance to Remember" Zumba block party will be held in memory of Skylar Kooken, Sophie Kerrigan, and Julianna Hawk. The three were killed in a car crash on November 4, 2012 after their pick-up truck slammed into a tree on Wagner Road and Oleva Drive in Sugarcreek Township.
The Zumba block party will take place at The Greene Towne Square from 4 until 6 p.m. Sunday.
The event will be taking donations, which will go towards the Skylar Kooken Memorial Scholarship Fund.
Local instructors will offer free outdoor Zumba for two hours. There will also be raffles and face painting.
