CEDARVILLE TWP., Ohio (WDTN) - The Greene County Sheriff's Department is investigating the discovery of a dead body.
Investigators arrived in the area of Federal Road and Rakestraw Road around 6:30 pm.
Deputies say it appears that the body was dumped there, but that is all they will confirm. They do say the circumstances are suspicious and they are treating the death as a homicide.
No word on the victim's gender or how the person may have died.
