BEAVERCREEK, Ohio (WDTN) - Beavercreek City Schools is planning to ask voters to approve an emergency operating levy in November.
The Board of Education approved a first resolution for a 5-year levy at Tuesday evening's meeting.
It is expected to raise more than $10-million a year, less than the previous request.
Final millage and dollar amounts will be certified by the Greene County auditor before August 7.
This year, they will help 13 families in need buy toys, clothing and other items.
