Police are questioning a person of interest after an elderly woman was robbed outside the Greenville YMCA early Wednesday morning.
Greenville police and Darke County Sheriff's deputies arrived at the YMCA on Wagner Avenue around 8:20 a.m.
According to Lt. Steve Strick, a 73-year-old woman was sitting in her car when the suspect opened the door and assaulted the woman.
The suspect also stole the woman's wallet, then took off.
Medics took the victim to Wayne Hospital. No word yet on her condition.
Greenville police found the person of interest inside the YMCA, but no one has been arrested.
