DARKE COUNTY, Ohio (WDTN) - Darke County officials are investigating after a passenger was seriously injured after falling off a motorcycle.
Darke County deputies along with Gettysburg Rescue, Gettysburg Fire and CareFlight were dispatched to Childrens Home Bradford Road east of Auld Road just before 5 p.m. Saturday.
According to officials, 29-year-old Crystal Werner of Greenville was the passenger on a motorcycle when she fell off of the bike onto the roadway. Deputies said Werner was not wearing a helmet. The driver of the motorcycle, 33-year-old Justin Hiatt of Greenville was not injured.
Werner was airlifted to Miami Valley Hospital where she is listed in critical condition.
The Darke County Sheriff's Office Accident Reconstruction Team was called to the scene for further investigation.
The accident remains under investigation by the Darke County Sheriff's Office.
