DARKE COUNTY, Ohio (WDTN) - One teen is recovering after rolling his ATV in Darke County.
Deputies responded to the 9900 block of Jamison Road on reports of an ATV rollover accident just after 11:30 a.m.
According to deputies, 18-year-old Nathan Peters was driving a 2013 Polaris Ranger ATV in a wheat stubble field along with passenger 18-year-old Ian Lawrence. Peters made a sharp turn causing the ATV to roll over onto the driver side.
Peters was airlifted to Miami Valley Hospital for his injuries. He is listed in fair condition. Lawrence was uninjured.
Deputies said Peters and Lawrence weren't wearing helmets.
