SPRINGFIELD, Ohio (WDTN) - Police were called to the scene of a shooting early Friday morning.
It happened in the 100 block or South Race Street in Springfield around 1:45 a.m.
We talked to Springfield Sergeant Allison Bennett on the scene, she told us the victim was taken by Careflight to Miami Valley Hospital.
She was unable to say what the victim's condition was at this point.
Crime scene investigators were on the scene for at least four hours.
