SPRINGFIELD, Ohio (WDTN) - Clark County women gathered in solidarity Thursday evening to bring awareness to domestic violence.
Project Woman held a candlelight vigil in downtown Springfield to celebrate survivors.
"The point of it is to celebrate survivors and talk about social issues and individual challenges for survivors to find recovery and let them know what Project Woman is doing," said Laura Baxter, Executive Director of Project Woman.
October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month.
This is the second year for the event.
