CLARK COUNTY, Ohio (WDTN) - A Clark County man is accused of breaking into the family business to do some illegal business of his own.
Daniel Collier, 41, is accused of breaking into Collier's Family Restaurant. His parents own the place.
Deputies say they received a report of a fan alarm at the restaurant just after 1:30 Thursday morning.
Investigators say it was obvious that Collier entered the back window and tried to crack the safe.
Collier's own parents identified him as the thief on surveillance video. Police arrested him a few hours later.
Collier is charged with breaking and entering and safe-cracking.
He is in the Clark County Jail on $5,000 bond.
