CLARK CO, Ohio (WDTN) - A manhunt was underway in Clark County Wednesday night for the son of an apparent murder victim.
Sheriff Gene Kelly held a news conference from the scene at 5904 Middle Urbana Road.
He says a man called police after arriving home from work shortly after 6:00 p.m. to find his wife and step-son missing.
Police discovered his 59-year old-wife's body inside the house. Her son was missing along with a pickup truck.
Officers are looking for Ryan Dillon, 25. He is believed to be driving a 1996 Dodge Dakota truck with an extended cab and a red cap. It is also missing the side view mirror on the passenger side. The Ohio license plate number is FBE 6141.
Dillon is believed to be armed and dangerous. Deputies say you should not approach him if you see him, but call police.
The sheriff said Dillon was seen in Auglaize County around 2:00 p.m. Family members told officers that Dillon said he would not be taken alive.
The sheriff says there is an extensive history of domestic violence calls to the address between the mother and her son.
