BETHEL TWP., Ohio (WDTN) - A man is recovering after accidentally shooting himself in the foot.
The accidental shooting happened in the 1300 block of North Tecumseh Road around 1 p.m. Saturday.
According to deputies, Dan Gray was preparing to target shoot with several friends when the .357 revolver went off while he was pointing it at his right foot.
Gray was taken to Springfield Regional Medical Center for a serious but non-life-threatening injury.
No charges will be filed at this time since it's believed to be a self-inflicted, unintentional discharge. Alcohol was not involved.
