SPRINGFIELD Ohio (WDTN) - Breaking down in tears before the judge, a Springfield teacher charged with sexual battery was sentenced Tuesday.
Jeffrey Scott Rohrer was ordered to serve three years in prison for engaging in sexual conduct with student in April 2013.
Rohrer, who taught at Springfield Clark Career Technology Center since 2010, pled guilty July 9, to two counts of sexual battery.
The prosecution argued that he was only remorseful because he was on his way to jail.
