SPRINGFIELD, Ohio (WDTN) - Officers are investigating a fatal accident in Springfield.
The accident happened at West Columbia Street and Plum Street after 3:15 p.m. Saturday.
According to officers, a man was driving eastbound on West Columbia Street when he drifted across three lanes of traffic into the corner of a Mexican restaurant.
He was taken to Springfield Medical Center across the street where he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Officials are still investigating the cause of the fatal crash.
The National Weather Service canceled the Winter Storm Warning and Winter Weather Advisory just after 9:30 pm.
