NEW CARLISLE, Ohio (WDTN) - A New Carlisle motorcycle dealership was the target of a break-in Thursday night.
A nearby resident called the Clark County Sheriff's Office at 10:41 to report hearing a loud crash coming from Motorsports of Dayton at 2135 S. Dayton Lakeview Rd., then seeing a white and maroon Buick Park Avenue driving away from the scene.
Sergeant Bradley Barnhart said when deputies arrived, they discovered the suspect entered the building through a window, and the crashing noise apparently came from the Buick driving through an overheard garage door, then smashing through a fence.
Barnhart said several items were also stolen from inside the business.
There were no license plates on the car and investigators said it likely sustained heavy front end damage.
Anyone with information on this crime please contact the Clark County Sheriff's Office at 937-328-2560.
