HAMILTON, Ohio (WDTN) - A Hamilton, Ohio boy is in critical condition after he was struck by a car Sunday evening at intersection of Gordon Smith Blvd and Marlou Drive.
Medics were called to the scene around 6:10 p.m. after the boy,7, was struck as he rode his bicycle onto Gordon Smith from Marlou Drive.
Witnesses told officers the boy didn't stop before crossing into the path of the car. He was taken to Children's Hospital in Cincinnati by medical helicopter where he is listed in critical condition.
The car's 22-year-old driver was not injured in the crash.
According to the crash report, the boy will not be issued a citation because of his age.
This year, they will help 13 families in need buy toys, clothing and other items.
